SENTOUSAI tiles are combined with a chic wooden wall, adding a deep and dense impression to this bedroom
space. Wood is a material that conveys a feeling of nature, just as these tiles do. SENTOUSAI’s
crack-stone surface, subdued colors, and uneven thickness cast exquisite shadows and deliver a sense of
calmness and relief. The indirect illumination behind the headboard also enhances the aesthetics of the
shadows on the tiles.
HOMURA – meaning “fire” in Japanese – are artistic tiles expressing the elements of earth and fire. The
gradation on their surface truly embodies the colors of fire, making it ideal for a fireplace. For this
fireplace, HOMURA Black are applied in the front in a herringbone pattern, surrounded by HOMURA White as
a frame that enables the fireplace to merge into the space.
This study space leverages a particular and detailed design around a fireplace. TOURKUHEKI’s deep relief
and glittery IBUSHI glaze offer a dynamic impression, enabling one to relax in front of the fireplace to
contemplate after a long day of work. Trimmed tiles with smooth corner finishes elevate the level of
luxury within the space.
